In June 2004, Dawn added Mikamar Best Kept Secret to the
family.  In addition to being a family pet, Dawn hoped Whisper
would be a partner in Semper Fido by acting as demo dog.
She also hoped to start in canine sports and obedience.

Whisper fit easily into the family.   Raising a sheltie, demo dog
and performance dog turned out to be quite a challenge, one
Dawn took head on.  (Please see Dawn's article "It's Not Easy
Being Green" about her first year with Whisper published in
Clean Run January 2007).  Whisper has matured nicely and is
certainly delivering the goods.

Whisper passed her CGC test without practice in November
2005.  Whisper demonstrates for Dawn's Training Fundamentals
classes on a regular basis.  Her photos can be seen in Leslie
McDevitt's "Nip it in the Bud" article in the June 2006 issue of
Clean Run.  And in Leslie McDevitt's new book "
Control
Unleashed: Creating a Focused and Confident Dog".  Dawn is
active training Whisper for agility and rally obedience.  Watch
for Whisper in Leslie McDevitt's upcoming video.

In August of 2006, Dawn and Whisper made their agility debut
at the NADAC trial in Contookcook, NH.  Whisper and Dawn
took second place in Novice Jumpers, their first run ever in
competition.  They qualified in two runs out of three.

Dawn updates regularly on her accomplishments with Whisper
on her
Blog.

Whisper has earned the following titles, AX (AKC Excellent Agility
Title), AXJ(AKC Excellent Agility Jumper Title ), AD (USDAA Agility
Dog), NJC (NADAC Novice Jumper's Certificate )and CGC (AKC
Canine Good Citizen).
